Sinatra
Sinatra is a special older girl, who we know her special someone is out there, somewhere.
Being that Sinatra does not favor large dogs, we feel it is at her best interest that she is the only dog of the family or person who is adopting her.
Sinatra is fully vetted and completed her heartworm treatment recently.
She is a collie mix that is such a loyal girl to who she will choose to be her person. She loves going on walks and seeing all natures beauty.
Sinatra is completely house broken and kennel trained.
Being that she is a senior, and has to be the only dog, we know it may take time for just the right person to come along for Sinatra, however we feel that person is out there for our girl.

Shasta
Shasta is a female german shepherd mix, she is approx 1.5 years old and weighs 51 pounds. Shasta was taken into the sanctuary on 7/29/2025.
Shasta loves to go on walks and chase balls, she loves the water and bites at the water sprinkler playing and jumping, she loves to RUN RUN RUN!!! Throw a frisbee and she will go get it and play for hours on end. She loves to snuggle and give her love to you in return for treats and hugs.
Shasta has a friendly personality, but will not tolerate aggressive dogs. Just to be on the safe side.
Shasta is fully vetted, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative, she has had the proheart injection for heartworm prevention.

Raven
Raven came to the sanctuary on October 29, 2024 at approx. 2 months old along with 3 other siblings that were strays in Polk County, her siblings have been adopted, Raven got sick with coccidia and recovered from that ok. Raven is a black lab mix and was spayed on 1/28/25. She is UTD on vaccines and rabies. She weighs 28 pounds
Raven has helped Winnie tremendously with trust issues, and Winnie will only go outside with Raven to potty and run around the property, most of the time. Raven is a very playful girl and loves her treats and her treat ball, she will play with that ball for however long her treats last, then brings the ball back asking for more. She loves toys and plays chase and fetch.
Raven is completely housebroken and minds very well, she goes outside and stays a while then comes back to the door to let me know when she wants inside. She is very smart and can find her way out if there is a way. Very dog friendly but does not like kittens!!! A beautiful sweet girl who is ready to give her love to her forever family .
NEEDS : Heartworm tested and given proheart along with flea prevention
Chucky
IF you are ready for lots of wagging tails and puppy dog kisses, then Chucky is your guy!!! This little guy is so playful and so ready to love his family.
Chucky arrived at the sanctuary on 7/25/25. His other 2 siblings have been adopted.
Chucky is a very playful little guy and LOVES PEOPLE and other dogs, He loves to run and play ball, chase his tail and just loves being a dog!!! Chucky loves to load up in the car and go for rides as he is a very attentive little guy. Sweet sweet little guy.
Chucky is approx. 8 months old as of 11/5/25 and weighs 25 to 30 pounds.
Chucky is fully vetted, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. UTD on vaccines.
Elijah
Elijah is a fully vetted blue tick coonhound who is ready to meet his forever person.
His coat is thick with waves of black throughout.
He is a friendly boy, approx. 9 months old and will be very easy to work with and train.
His bark is a distintive coon hound bark that we all enjoy hearing about sundown.

Luke
Luke is a blue tick coonhound mix who is ready to learn and follow his leader into the hunting world.
Luke is fully vetted and such a good loyal yet friendly boy.
Luke is approx. 9 months old and ready for his meet and greet with you.

Liberty Belle
Liberty Belle is ready to load up and take a ride anywhere, as long as she can see the roadtrip view and know she is loved, then you will have the best travel companion anyone could ask for.
Liberty Belle is fully vetted female lab mix approx. 2 to 3 years old.
No cats or birds for Liberty and we will have to make sure with a meet and greet if you have other dogs, that they all like each other.
We do kind of favor the idea, that Liberty wants your undivided attention as your only furbaby. If you are ready to meet this girl who loves car rides, loves to play frisbee and loves to sleep by your bed, then we are all in agreement to schedule a meet and greet with you.

Max
Max is around 1 year old and has been fully vetted.
He weighs 57 pounds and we believe he has reached his adult size.
We were notified about him being dumped and injured. We rushed to get him to the vet to get him seen about, he had a deep laceration on his private parts, that needed immediate surgery- we agreed for him to be nuetered during the surgery.
Max is heartworm negative and received the proheart preventive shot that is good for one year.
Max just wants to be loved and know he is safe.
We have no idea if his injury was intentional or an accident, we do know him being dumped was intentional by some human who has no empathy for sweet innocent furbabies.
Max is healing now and is ready for his new loving family to adopt him.

Frito
Frito is a shepherd mix male who is approx. 3 years old.
Frito will be available for adoption soon , he will be fully vetted and healed before he is adopted.
Frito is a silly boy who thinks he is THE MAN.
Frito isnt fond of male big dogs, but gets along with all the ones his size here at the sanctuary.
He is very loving and loyal and will make the perfect pet, once he is fully vetted.

Morgan
We all know there’s nothing better than snuggles from a kitten or puppy. Our community loves providing new homes for these younger animals, and they often have the shortest length of stay in local shelters/rescues.
But that also means older animals may be overlooked – and they’re equally ready to be your new best friend.
Morgan is just that, an older gal who deserves her own place to call her own.
Morgan had her vetting visit yesterday ( 2/23/26) she is utd on her vaccines, spayed, she received the 1 year pro-heart heart worm injection, 3 month Bravecto, however she is heartworm positive. We are in process of deciding what treatment options we will pursue. Diesel
Already treeing squirrels and we know Diesel is such a smart boy who is eager to please and will learn very fast!!
Diesel is a fully vetted blue tick coon hound who not only loves to play and then sit on the porch with you at sundown, he already has a huge desire to hunt and please his person.
Diesel is approx. 9 months old.

Nova
Say hello to Nova.
Isnt she just lovely!!!
Nova is a petite husky mix weighing in at 36 pounds.
We recently welcomed Nova to the sanctuary as a owner surrender to our county shelter.
We dont know anything about her background other than she is a lovebug.
During her exam at our vet, we discovered she is heartworm positive and of course we are treating her for this. In 30 days she will be re-tested to see how the Doxy is treating her. Then we will make the decision to either do the in hospital treatment, which is very expensive or do another round of doxy.
During this time of treatment, Nova will remain a resident of the sanctuary until she is spayed and her heartworm treatment has finished.

Daisy
Daisy is a sweet blue tick coonhound mix.
She is fully vetted and ready to meet her new forever family.
Daisy is approx. 9 months old as ofs January 2026.
She is full of energy and loves to run and play. She comes with lots of love and wagging tails, ready to become your best companion.

Mandy
Introducing Mandy !!!
Mandy is a precious little girl who is learning just how much fun puppy toys and balls are.
She may have started her little life out a bit difficult, but we are making sure she knows love, huggies, kisses and just how much fun being a puppy can be.
She is coming out of her shyness and so ready to have her own family, that she can grow up with.
Mandy is about 2.5 months old ( as of Feb.1 2026) and has already started her puppy shots and training.
Mandy is a shepherd mix little girl.

Missy
Meet sweet Missy.
So cute and precious with her own little personality.
Missy is a german shepherd mix little girl. Her sibling Mandy and her are almost identical twins.
Missy loves to run a play. She is always looking for something new to figure out.
Her personality is that of Dora the Exployer.
She is ready to meet her new family and grow up with them.
She has started her puppy shots and is approx. 3.5 months old. ( Feb.2, 2026)

Gizmo
Gizmo is a sweet senior with a heart full of love and plenty of pep in his step. Though he’s heartworm positive, he still has lots of energy and enjoys short walks, playful moments, and long, cozy naps.
He’s looking for a caring home to keep him comfortable and follow his vet’s guidance. In return, Gizmo will give you loyal companionship, gentle cuddles, and a whole lot of love.
